  • What is Alive & Free Richmond?

Alive & Free Richmond is a partnership between the City of Richmond, Omega Boys Club, Street Soldiers Radio, Richmond Pulse, The California Endowment, and Healthy Richmond Hub partners.

Alive & Free Richmond uses the Alive & Free Prescription™ methodology developed by Omega Boys Club, which frames violence as a treatable and preventable disease, rather than labeling youth and giving up on them.

Alive & Free Richmond is building the capacity of Richmond youth providers, partnerships and residents working to reduce gun-related youth violence by training and supporting people in using the Alive & Free Prescription™ in their work and lives.

Alive & Free Richmond is promoting a consistent community approach to preventing youth violence with multi-media outreach and education in collaboration with Richmond leaders, stakeholders, and residents.
